Join us for a discussion of beekeeping practices as described by Conrad Heresbach
in his Foure Bookes of Husbandry written in 1577.
Medieval Hoods: Your Go-To Accessory
Instructor: Lady Edyth Miller
An overview of medieval hoods for both men and women, with a focus on 14th and 15th century styles. Participants will also receive construction tips and patterns for most of the styles discussed.
No participation limit, an optional donation of $1 is requested for the handouts.
What to do with a Veil
Instructor: Lady Edyth Miller
Demonstrations of the many ways to wear veils and headwraps for a variety of periods and event situations.
No fee or participation limits.
An Introduction to HennaInstructor: Lady Anabel de Berchelai
This class will cover a brief history of henna and its use within the SCA time period, and basic information on mixing and application.
Wireweaving 101Instructor: Arnulf Ullrsson ini Skeggox
This class will provide a basic introduction to Viking Age wire weaving (Trichonopoly).
The class is open to 10 participants. No fee.
